This past, few weeks, I think I'll have a few months covered. It's just one of those times.

Attempting to Scare My Socks Off
I read in an email newsletter this past while, that one great way to bring more fulfillment, meaning and depth to your life is to do one thing that scares you, every week.

Eureka!
It would appear I'm overdue for a post, again. This blog hasn't exactly been on my New Year's resolution list . . . well it wouldn't be, even if I did keep a new years resolution list. Which I don't. Though now I wonder, if I kept a list, would this blog be on it? Would seem kinda lame not to have my own blog on my New Year's resolution list. I could ponder that further, but perhaps that SoCk is meant for another day.
Where was I? Oh yes . . . I hadn't even gotten started yet.
Technically I have started, as I do have a topic for today's post. Gold star for my forehead! --> *

This Sock Hasn't Met Its Match!
So, a friend of mine offered a suggestion for me to write a post without changing the autocorrect feature of my phone. This could lead to some crazy consequences . . . but okay, then! Here we go . . .

To My Young Friends . . . A SoCk Your Own Size
Thinking about some friends today who may not realize they are ever thought about at all . . . not just by me, but in general. Sometimes in the hustle of life, it's good to take a moment to pause and remind people around us that we care. So, today, I want to focus on you, my young friends.

The Friendly, Near-Random, Non-Post Post
This is not a blog post.
Well, okay, sure it's a blog post. It's a post on a blog!
But it's not really a "blog post", per se. It's more . . .

Capers of Culinary Creativitousness
"When you are diagnosed with something that requires a dietary restriction, the one thing you CANNOT do is try to substitute for things you love! Just don't! Because all you'll do is torture yourself to tears!"
Good advice. Thank you!

The Broken and The Beautiful
"When the Japanese mend broken objects they aggrandize the damage by filling the cracks with gold, because they believe that when something's suffered damage and has a history it becomes more beautiful."

TED Hose For The Soul
I'm amazed at how many people (I, included at times) can't/won't let themselves even consider certain concepts that I think are very healthy for the improved circulation of the "soul". There are many such concepts, but I've been musing over a few of the most basic, and how they've impacted my own life, as well as the lives of those around me. So, from experience, I have learned sometimes all it takes is a bit of permission. So. . . here you go.

The Ramble of the Butterflies
Lately I've developed a certain fondness for butterflies. While one could argue that's perfect for me, as I'm so “flighty” and such, I would have to not only agree, but also expand on that (and likely use many, many words to do so. In fact, I think I might use pictures this time, too!). Because the more I think of butterflies as a metaphorical symbol, the deeper and more amazing they seem.

Gold * Star For My Forehead
Well, congratulations Dear, you've created this thing, posted something, and posted again, making it clear you're not just a "one-post wonder"! You've even had a few people prove they read it by giving feedback that wasn't even on a graded pop quiz nor coaxed by promises of grand rewards like... um...

Ramblers Anonymous
Hello, and thank you for gathering here today. I’d like to start by telling you a secret. I am a rambling babbler. Wow... I can’t believe how it feels to get that off my chest!
